Venn Diagram Maker
Build the connections, then take your diagram to class.
What does a Venn diagram show?
A Venn diagram groups items by what two sets share and what belongs to only one set. Edit the subject names and three regions, then export a filled example or blank worksheet. Circle size does not represent a quantity in this maker.
Start hereEdit the example in the left panel. Select Blank worksheet to hide your responses.

Make the diagram explain your thinking
Place properties shared by both subjects in the overlap. Use the outer regions only for distinguishing properties. The starter compares a photosynthetic leaf cell with a typical animal cell. It does not imply that every plant cell contains chloroplasts.
Science reference: OpenStax Biology 2e: eukaryotic cells. Illustration and wording are original.
For a presentation of your comparison, you can turn voice notes into slide drafts with SayDeck.
Before you export
Can I use this in Google Slides or PowerPoint?
Download PNG and insert it as an image in your slides. There is no native editable Google Slides or PowerPoint export. SVG retains text and lines for compatible vector editors; PDF is created through your browser’s print dialog. Keep editing here before export, and download before closing this tab.
What stays visible in the blank worksheet?
The two subject names, circle outlines and region prompts remain. All three response areas are blank. Your worksheet title and classroom stay visible. Hiding responses does not delete them.
Can I change the drawing or use longer text?
This version uses two circles. Edit the subject names and three regions. Keep entries concise. If text does not fit, export is disabled with a message so no answer is silently cut off.
Is it free, and where is my work saved?
Editing and exports are free without signup or credits. You can use your exports in your own teaching materials, subject to rights in anything you add. Entries remain in the current tab; this tool does not save cloud projects or import exported images. Download before leaving.
