How Do You Make a Compare and Contrast Graphic Organizer?
Enter two subjects, add comparison categories, and write their similarities and differences. Edit the example or start blank, switch between filled and blank versions, then download or print your worksheet.
Start with the subject names, then compare each feature below.
Your entries stay in this tab. Download before leaving; closing or reloading the page clears your edits. No AI writes or checks your answers.

Examples describe typical cells and familiar changes of state, not every exception. References: OpenStax: eukaryotic cells and USGS: the water cycle.
Make a comparison students can explain
- Name two subjects and choose a question that applies to both.
- Compare the same feature in each row. Use the shared-points box for similarities.
- Keep Filled as your discussion model, or choose Blank worksheet for students. Download or print the version on screen.
Questions before you export
What stays on a blank worksheet?
The title, question, classroom, subject names and category labels remain. Both response columns and shared points become writing lines. This hides the answers in the preview, SVG, PNG and printout without deleting your entries.
Can I edit the categories and use my own topic?
Yes. Rename the subjects and categories, replace all responses, and use between one and eight comparison rows. You can compare ideas from science, reading, history or any other lesson.
Which export should I choose?
SVG keeps text and lines editable in compatible graphics software. PNG works in slides and documents. Print / Save as PDF uses your browser’s print dialog. Choose A4 or US Letter and review the print preview before saving.
Is this free? Does it check my answers?
Editing and exporting are free, with no account, credits or watermark. You supply and review the content. The tool does not generate facts or grade the comparison.
